Dr. Karl Brown is a healthcare leader with 20 years of extensive experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as in operational management of hospitals, outpatient facilities, and health plans.

He has worked as a physician in various leadership roles for Intermountain Healthcare, the U.S. Air Force, and IPC The Hospitalist Company. Specifically, Dr. Brown worked in Las Vegas as a hospitalist at Sunrise Hospital and as an in/outpatient physician at the Mike O’Callaghan Federal Hospital (joint USAF/VA facility) where he served as the Chief of Internal Medicine, Director of Medical Services, Chair of the Inpatient Care Council, and member of the Executive Council of Medical Staff. While working at Logan Regional Hospital as a hospitalist, he provided inpatient care in the general hospital as well as in the ICU. While working at Logan Regional Hospital, he was the Chief of Internal Medicine and the Chief of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. He also worked in Intermountain Work-Med (occupational medicine) clinic.

Dr. Brown also worked at Portneuf Medical Center where he was a hospitalist, admitting patients for medical, surgical, and ICU care. He taught Family Medicine residents at Portneuf and was an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Idaho State University.

Dr. Brown served as Molina Healthcare’s Chief Medical Officer of Utah and Idaho. During his tenure, he was the Corporate Medical Director of Risk Adjustment, Coding, and Auditing, overseeing these enterprise-wide teams. Dr. Brown began his health plan experience as the medical director of risk adjustment in the Utah market. Highly regarded for data-driven initiatives resulting in improved patient outcomes, enhanced safety measures, strategic cost reductions, and increased revenue capture, Dr. Brown is a process-focused motivator dedicated to continuous improvement.

He recently served as the Executive Vice President of Quality and Business Operations, and currently is the Chief Quality and Risk Adjustment Officer for HealthCare Partners, IPA in New York. His extensive experience includes risk adjustment for Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace; safety, protocol standardization, and promoting and instituting Electronic Health Records (EHR) usage; utilization and case management; revenue capture; CMS audits and improved core measures; prior authorizations; grievances and appeals; compliance; Stars, HEDIS; and improving Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) scores.

Dr. Brown earned his MD from Wayne State University, his MPH in Epidemiology, his master’s Certificate in Public Health Genetics, and his MBA from the University of Michigan. He graduated from executive leadership training from University of California, Irvine. He earned a BS in Microbiology and a BA in Chemistry from Arizona State University. He also earned his certified personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and his certified risk coder certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders. We offer a wide range of medical services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and urgent care.  Joselyn Chai is a dedicated healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in critical care, aesthetics, and pain management. She began her nursing journey in 2011 after earning her RN qualification in Malaysia and quickly developed expertise as an ICU nurse. In 2015, Joselyn completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Sydney, solidifying her passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

In 2018, Joselyn relocated to the United States to expand her career. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) from Northern Kentucky University in 2021. Since then, she has worked as an aesthetics nurse practitioner and joint injection specialist, combining her clinical expertise with her artistic eye for patient outcomes.

Currently, Joselyn leads a pain management clinic focused on providing comprehensive care for patients recovering from auto accidents and veterans seeking disability evaluations. Her practice emphasizes compassionate, personalized treatment to help patients regain their quality of life.

Outside of her professional commitments, Joselyn enjoys spending quality time with her 5-year-old son, cherishing every moment of play and adventure together.

With 18 years of medical management and patient experience, she has been a valuable member of National Wellness Centers for the past 3 years. McCall holds a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Weber State University and is dedicated to enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
